Victoria began her career as a classroom teacher, where she noticed the same thing year after year: bright, curious children quietly falling behind simply because no one had the time to sit with them and sound out the words.

She started teaching a handful of those children one-on-one after school — first at her own dining table, then in their homes. Word spread among parents, and Victoria Book Resources grew into a full reading club and home tutoring service for children aged 1 to 18.

Today she trains every tutor personally, keeps class sizes at exactly one child, and still teaches sessions herself each week because, as she puts it, "the moment a child reads their first sentence alone is worth every hour."
